Judy & the Loadies: Rehearse! (March 1, 1993)

John drove back up to Arcata in March of 1993 to play a Judy & the Loadies show (on March 6, 1993), and also record some songs onto 8 track (which would not be used until the release of I Like It Cheap).

It'd been a while since we’d last played together, so we decided to rehearse once beforehand. We were trying to remember songs we used to play, and also try a few new ones out. You also hear some songs being written on the spot. It’s clear we were a few beers in by the time the tape was rolling…

You may hear some swearing.

Chris decided to record the rehearsal (at Chris’s apartment in Arcata called "The Couch") live onto 1/4" 2-track reel-to-reels.
